AITECH Cloud Network and Concordium Partner to Introduce Privacy-Preserving Identity Verification for AI Agent Creators

The integration enables Agent Forge creators to prove that a verified human stands behind their AI agents without exposing personal identity documents or sensitive information.

AITECH Cloud Network (ACN) has announced a strategic partnership with Concordium to introduce privacy-preserving identity verification across Agent Forge, ACN’s no-code platform for building, deploying and discovering AI agents.

As autonomous AI agents increasingly interact, transact and provide services on behalf of users, establishing trust and accountability around who stands behind those agents is becoming increasingly important.

Through the integration, Agent Forge creators can now connect a Concordium account to their profile and prove that a verified human identity exists behind it, without revealing their name, identity documents or other sensitive personal information to Agent Forge.

Creators who successfully complete the verification process receive a persistent Verified Creator status across Agent Forge, providing users with an additional trust signal when discovering and interacting with AI agents.

Privacy-Preserving Verification for AI Agent Creators

Verification is completed through Concordium’s identity infrastructure using Zero-Knowledge Proof technology.

The proof confirms that a genuine verified identity credential exists behind the connected Concordium account while keeping the underlying personal information private.

Agent Forge does not receive or store passports, photographs, document numbers or other identity documentation. Instead, the platform stores only the connected Concordium account address and the verification status required to display the Verified Creator designation.

The verification is attached to the creator’s Agent Forge profile rather than an individual agent. Once verified, agents subsequently published by that creator can carry the same creator verification status without requiring the verification process to be repeated for every deployment.

Each Concordium account can also be associated with only one Agent Forge creator account, providing an additional safeguard against the large-scale creation of anonymous publisher profiles.

“We did not want Agent Forge holding identity documents. Builders should not have to hand their passport to a workflow platform, and we should not be storing one. Concordium gives us a way to demonstrate that a verified person stands behind an agent without Agent Forge ever needing to know who that person is.”

John Mendez, Head of AI Development at AITECH Cloud Network

Building Greater Trust Across the Agentic Economy

The collaboration between ACN and Concordium extends beyond displaying a verification badge.

Agent Forge is being developed as infrastructure for an emerging economy in which autonomous agents can discover services, communicate with other agents, execute transactions and operate across decentralized networks.

As those capabilities grow, identity and accountability become increasingly important components of agent-to-agent and human-to-agent interactions.

Agent Forge currently utilizes the ERC-8004 standard to provide on-chain identity and discovery infrastructure for AI agents. The integration with Concordium introduces an additional layer at the creator level, allowing users to distinguish between the verification of an agent’s on-chain record and verification that a genuine human stands behind its publisher.

The result is a model in which an AI agent can maintain its existing blockchain infrastructure while also carrying a verifiable association with an identity-verified creator.

Identity Without Sacrificing Privacy

A central objective of the partnership is to strengthen accountability without introducing unnecessary collection of personal information.

Concordium’s identity model allows verification to occur without placing sensitive identity data directly on the blockchain or within Agent Forge.

The underlying Identity Provider is responsible for verifying the creator, while Agent Forge only receives the cryptographic proof required to confirm that verification has taken place.

This separation allows the platform to introduce stronger identity assurances while minimizing the amount of personal information handled by the AI platform itself.

Expanding Agent Discovery and Verification

The partnership will also expand the interoperability between the two ecosystems.

Concordium-native AI agents are being introduced as an additional source within Agent Forge’s Discover Agents infrastructure, expanding the range of agents users can find through the platform.

Agent Forge will also support functionality allowing AI workflows to determine whether another address interacting with them is associated with a verified human.

This creates the foundation for more advanced trust-based interactions in which autonomous agents can make decisions not only based on what another agent can do, but also on the level of verification associated with the party behind it.

Future phases of the collaboration are expected to explore additional applications around identity, agent verification and trusted interactions between autonomous systems.

Infrastructure for the Next Generation of AI Commerce

For ACN, the partnership forms part of a broader strategy to develop the infrastructure required for autonomous AI agents to participate safely and effectively in digital commerce.

Agent creation is only one part of that environment.

Discovery, interoperability, identity, payments and accountability will all become increasingly important as AI agents move from passive assistants toward systems capable of independently providing services and carrying out economic activity.

The partnership with Concordium introduces another foundational layer to Agent Forge by giving creators the ability to demonstrate that a verified human stands behind their agents while maintaining the privacy of their underlying identity.

Together, AITECH Cloud Network and Concordium aim to contribute toward an agentic economy where AI agents can operate autonomously while users retain stronger signals of trust, verification and accountability.
