Weekly Development Update: Expanding Compute Marketplace Flexibility
Development across the Compute Marketplace continues, with this week’s work focused on strengthening the platform’s commercial infrastructure and giving users greater flexibility when buying and selling Cloud Data Centre capacity.
A key update was made to the marketplace smart contracts, which now support the collection of platform fees. This creates the foundation for processing marketplace transactions more efficiently as activity across the platform grows.
The pricing system has also been updated across both the backend and frontend. CDC sellers can now set minimum and maximum price ranges for their listings, giving them greater control over pricing while helping maintain more consistent marketplace parameters.
Multi-currency support has also been introduced for CDC sales. Transactions can now be completed using ACN, USDT, or USDC, providing users with more payment options and making the marketplace more accessible to a broader range of buyers.
Alongside these infrastructure updates, several minor UI improvements were completed to improve the overall platform experience.
These developments bring the Compute Marketplace closer to providing a more flexible, scalable, and user-friendly environment for CDC trading.
